This collaboration is part of a new, $40 million commitment by Bloomberg Philanthropies to help slash methane emissions by providing the data, policy and country-level engagement to avoid what new research says could be the equivalent of 10 gigatons of carbon dioxide by 2030 – an essential component to slow our approach to 1.5C and reduce a global temperature overshoot.
